This is Amber St. John and she has a total of five years of experience in massage therapy. She graduated from Everest University with her diploma in massage and practiced in a few different spas, a doctors office and a chiropractic clinic. She knew early on that she needed to focus on more therapeutic modalities in order to push herself like she needed to. She was introduced to sports therapy in one of the spas and is currently working on her certification in sports therapy.
Her experience working in the chiropractic clinic was very insightful and educational. With support and learning that she received from other therapists and doctors working with her, she was able to gain a whole new understanding of interactions of muscle groups and how the body holds tension. To her the body is a puzzle you just have to find what works to fit everything back where it need to be. No one thing works for everyone and part of the joy of working with clients is finding their blend to set them on the road to healing.
